Answer Shell access is available on most of the Unix plans, however it is not enabled by default.

To have shell access:
  1. Login to the control panel, and click on FTP Manager then turn on the Shell Access. If you can't find this, it means your plan doesn't support it and you may need to upgrade.
  2. After that, print, sign and return the Shell Access Request Form via email or fax to the support email address.
You can use putty or other SSH clients to access the server using the same login and password as your ftp.

Note that our SSH and SCP runs on a non standard port 8022. Please adjust your ssh client accordingly.
