Answer To password protect a directory on your web site follow these steps:

1. Login to the control panel
2. Click FTP Manager
3. Click the small screen icon under File Manager -> WebShell
4. Click "Protect" at the bottom of the screen - a new popup window will appear
5. You'll be presented with a file listing as if you had logged in through FTP.

In this window, click on the directory name (not the icon) to browse inside that directory until you see the that you want to protect on the directory listing.
Then click on the folder _icon_ (to the left of the folder name that you want to protect) to password protect it, and follow the prompt to specify a username and password.

At the end of the steps, you must click "Save" to activate the protection.

Please note that if you would like to protect a directory or set of directories with a different username and password combination you will need to change the ok_user file name to ok_user2 etc.
