CGI scripts not working



You have enabled awstats or installed your own cgi application to find that you get an error message "The requested URL /cgi-bin was not found on this server."

What you need to do is log into the control panel then click web options.

You will then see a list of domains that are attached to your account, then click the tool icon which is "edit hosting parameters".

Now one quarter of the way down the page you will see CGI Dir, then click the add icon which is "add cgi alias" and type /cgi-bin

Once you have done the above steps click apply and wait approximately 5 minutes for the changes to take effect and you should be now up and running.
